In this interview, our Director of Digital Solutions & Transformation, John Kim, reflects on his intriguing role and experiences.
One of the best things about my job is seeing how cool ideas gathered throughout the engagement evolve into a prototype, and eventually the final solution.
What are the best things about your job?
John assisted his clients in resolving challenges within their business processes. Each project involved brainstorming and prototyping potential solutions. One of the best parts of his job, which he genuinely enjoys, is witnessing the innovative ideas collected during projects progress into prototypes and, finally, become fully developed solutions.
It's also incredibly rewarding to see these solutions effectively address the clients' problems.
Beyond work-related activities, what initiatives are you involved in at Baker Tilly?
John is part of two sports interest groups, basketball and football, where they meet on a regular basis for casual pickup games. They also organise friendly matches with other professional firms on a regular basis.
This provides a great opportunity to meet people from other service lines and at different levels. For example, they have an intern from the tax practice as well as a partner from the assurance practice all playing together.
