John Kim Hongchan

John Kim is Director at Baker Tilly, specialising in digital transformation.   

He has over 18 years of combined experience in public and corporate accounting, as well as finance and tax technology implementation and process improvement, operating model design, technology roadmap design, and data modelling and warehousing. He was based in New York, NY and Washington, DC serving global firms in the financial services industry before relocating to Singapore in 2017. 

John is a Certified Public Accountant ("CPA") (US) and graduated from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business with a double major in finance and accounting. 

John provides a wide range of services around clients’ digital transformation journey including development and management of clients’ long-term finance transformation projects, onboarding of technology such as Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) and Business Intelligence (“BI”) solutions for finance function, and data cleansing and preparation for various reporting packages.  

John also conducts training on business intelligence and process automation for finance and tax professionals using MS Power BI and UiPath.
